Artist and designer Astrid in front of her paintings, inspired by natural textures and organic forms.

"I continuously explore the essence of materials and forms, letting textures and structures guide my creations. My work expands beyond painting, into sculpture and design, reflecting the beauty inherent in the world around me."

Astrid is a Belgian artist and designer with a background in business psychology, now fully devoted to her lifelong passion for creating. Her work is inspired by the quiet systems, organic structures, and subtle rhythms of the natural world.

After years of creating alongside a professional career, Astrid took the leap to make art her full-time life. Every day is an opportunity to explore, experiment, and bring materials to life. Through painting, sculpture, and furniture design. What once felt like a distant childhood dream has become her reality, filling each day with wonder, curiosity, and joy.

Her work celebrates the restorative power of nature. Subtle forms, textures, and patterns become visual anchors for stillness, inviting viewers to pause, observe, and reconnect. Each detail is an invitation to slow down and appreciate the beauty around us.

Art, for Astrid, is a dialogue. Pieces interact with their surroundings; the space influences the work, and the work reshapes the space.

Her compositions are minimal yet layered, letting structure, imperfection, and material presence speak quietly but unmistakably. Rather than demanding attention, her work asks for it. Gently encouraging reflection and connection.

Through her creations, Astrid transforms natural inspiration into tangible experiences. Her art and design are not just objects, but moments of pause, exploration, and wonder. A daily practice of presence and devotion to doing what she was always meant to do.
